Dale Hopely, Senior Pastor

Pastor Dale Hopely leads the staff of the Church at Litchfield Park in support of the congregation in worship and as followers of Jesus Christ.   He provides leadership and direction to all of the Church staff in support of the ministries of the Church.

Jim Butler, Executive Pastor of Ministerial Support

Jim joined The Church at Litchfield Park in January, 2009.   He will be working closely with Dale to provide leadership in the areas of Christian Education and Administrative support.    Jim will also work with Dale to support all of the ministries of the Church. 

Jud Souers, Pastor Emeritus

Jud Souers is a long time member of the Church and served as our Pastor for over 20 years.   Since his retirement, Jud has continued to serve the Church by filling the pulpit occasionally when needed. 




 

Church Office Staff,

Jean loves Mexican food and Italian food.   She enjoys all sorts of crafts, reading, painting with oils, and spending lots of time with her 19 grandchildren.   Jean also enjoys helping with a prison ministry and mentoring pregnant teenage girls.

Brenda loves Mexican food, especially made with fresh, roasted New Mexico chile, and anything chocolate.   She enjoys watching the AZ Diamondbacks and the Phoenix Suns, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Shirley loves fish and Asian food.   She likes going to the movies, traveling, and helping other people in need, especially spending time with her family. 

Education Staff

Debbie says her favorite food is steak tartar.   Her hobbies are reading, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Eric loves barbeque ribs and is passionate about youth ministry.   Eric is attending Southwestern Bible College working toward his degree in Theology with a focus on Youth Ministry.   His hobbies include Ping-Pong, racquetball, and reading.

Chris says her favorite food is Mexican chile rellenos.   She enjoys gardening, working with young children, and supporting her 27 year old son who is serving in the Marines.

Carly Bennett, Nursery Staff

Carly says she is crazy about Italian food.   She enjoys cooking, baking, and reading.   Carly also misses Iowa and hopes to return someday.

Music Staff

Mona provides beautiful organ music in our Traditional Service each week.   She enjoys each summer in Texas visiting with family and friends.

Jeff loves almost any food, as long as it is not too spicy.   He says he has no hobbies other than his work as a music teacher and leading the Chancel Choir.   When asked about his most interesting tidbit, Jeff says "My wife is a genius!"

Nan Raine, Traditional Worship Chair

Nan enjoys helping wherever needed in our Church and also spends a great deal of time as a member of Soroptimist International of Estrella whose goal is to improve the lives of women and children locally and throughout the world. She loves to read and practice the piano and organ. Nan's favorite food is cheese of any kind and frequent visits to Sweet Tomatoes for salads.

Shannon Beveridge, Contemporary Worship Chair

Shannon has recently started working as the Worship Chair for the Contemporary Service. Shannon loves all food, but Thai is her favorite. Travel is her true passion and she is the first in line for any food that reflects new cultures and experiences. She loves books, art and time with her husband Jordan and their two boys. You will find her every Sunday morning singing with the Contemporary worship group. A lifelong musician, she finds music to be her most heartfelt form of prayer.

Alberto recently joined the staff at the Church. You will find him working constantly to keep the Church campus clean and looking nice. Alberto is very friendly and willing to help anyone who asks.
