After graduating from high school, Lynne went on to study Music Education at Western Michigan University. They lived there for three years before returning to Holland, MI, where they expanded and raised their family.
Lynne has served in various ministry capacities, including Christian Education, Music, Youth Ministry, and Fellowship (Community Development), since she was a teenager, which led to her call to full-time vocational ministry. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cross-Cultural Studies and Biblical Theology from Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College) in Grand Rapids, MI in 2005. While pursuing her undergraduate, Lynne served as the music director at Reformed Church on the north side of Holland, MI. During seminary, Lynne served as the Pastor of Community Life at a small inner-city church in the heart of the city. In 2008 she graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary. Upon graduating from seminary, Lynne was licensed and ordained in the Reformed Church in America after receiving a call to serve as the Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church in Grand Rapids, MI. In May, 2010 she was installed as their Senior Pastor.
In May, 2016 Lynne earned a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Preaching degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. Pastor Lynne joined the ministerial team at The Church at Litchfield Park in January, 2016. She loves to encourage people as they continue to grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus.
In her spare time, Lynne loves to spend time with her husband. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, listening to music, watching movies, long walks, talking, and playing with their grandsons.

Since being called to ministry at The Church at Litchfield Park, Kerri has continuously worked to share and spread the love of Jesus Christ within the church and greater community.
