Women@CLP: Abide Bible StudyJoin us as we study 1, 2, and 3 John! - Tuesday, September 8, 2026 Abide: A Study of 1, 2 & 3 John by Jen WilkinThere are few things more important for believers today than learning how to recognize truth, remain rooted in Christ, and love one another well. In a world filled with competing voices, uncertainty, and division, the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John call us back to what matters most: abiding in Jesus. Beginning this September, Women@CLP invites you to join us for Abide, a 10-week Bible study by respected Bible teacher and author Jen Wilkin. Together, we'll walk verse by verse through John's three letters, discovering how they continue to speak powerfully to the Church today. Written to believers facing deception, doubt, and division, John's message encourages us to remain steadfast in the truth of God's Word, find assurance in our salvation, and reflect Christ's love in our daily lives. Whether you are new to Bible study or have spent years studying Scripture, this study will deepen your understanding of God's Word and strengthen your confidence in living faithfully as a disciple of Jesus. Our prayer is that each woman will grow in her love for Christ, develop greater discernment in an age of confusion, and experience the joy and assurance that come from abiding in Him. Study DetailsTuesday Morning Study
Thursday Evening Study
Study MaterialsParticipants are asked to purchase the Abide Bible study workbook by Jen Wilkin before the first session. The workbook includes the weekly study materials as well as access to the accompanying teaching videos that will be incorporated throughout the study. The workbook is available through Amazon: We hope you'll join us as we gather around God's Word, encourage one another in faith, and learn together what it truly means to abide in Christ. Abide!"Abide in me, and I in you." — John 15:4 - Saturday, August 29, 2026 Join us on Saturday, August 29 | 2:00–4:00 p.m. As summer comes to a close and a new ministry season begins, we invite you to set aside a couple of hours to pause, reconnect, and prepare your heart for all that God has in store this fall. Join the women of CLP for an afternoon of fellowship, encouragement, laughter, meaningful conversation, and, of course, delicious food. Together we'll spend time connecting with one another, reflecting on God's faithfulness, and looking ahead to the opportunities He has for us to grow, serve, and abide in Him through the busy months ahead. Whether you've been part of Women@CLP for years or you're looking for a place to connect for the very first time, we'd love for you to join us. Bring a friend, meet new women, and leave encouraged for the season ahead. This gathering will also provide an opportunity to learn more about our upcoming Abide Bible study and connect with other women as we prepare to begin a new season of growing together in God's Word. Come expectant. Come hungry—for good food, meaningful friendships, and God's Word. We can't wait to spend the afternoon with you! For more infomation visit:

A Gentle Reminder: Protect Yourself from Phone & Banking Scams
We want to share an important reminder with our church family. Unfortunately, scams have become increasingly sophisticated, and recently one of our own members lost a significant amount of money after receiving what appeared to be a legitimate phone call from their bank. The caller ID displayed the bank's phone number, and the caller had enough personal information to sound trustworthy. The scam ultimately involved transferring money through Zelle. Please remember:
Scammers are becoming very convincing, and anyone can become a victim. The best defense is to slow down, verify independently, and never let someone on an unexpected call rush you into making a financial decision. Let's continue to look out for one another. If you hear about a new scam or have concerns about a suspicious call or message, don't hesitate to share it with family, friends, or another trusted person. A simple conversation may help protect someone else. |
