Good Morning, Church Family!

In celebration of all that God is doing in and through CLP Youth, lets consider their guiding Scripture from Mission Camp and see what God's does in our own hearts:

Monday

Matthew 5:16
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

  • How can we actively let our light shine before others in our daily lives, reflecting God's glory?
  • Are there specific good works or acts of kindness we can engage in to fulfill this Scripture?

Tuesday

1 Timothy 4:12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

  • How can the older members of the church support and encourage the younger generation in their faith journey?

Wednesday

Matthew 25:40
“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’’

Mark 9:35
And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

  • In what ways do these Scriptures challenge us to serve and prioritize the needs of others, especially those who are marginalized or less fortunate?

Thursday

Isaiah 58:10
Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness.

  • How can we, as a church community, actively engage in feeding the hungry and helping those in trouble to make our light shine in the darkness?

Friday

1 Peter 4:10

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace.

  • What are some unique gifts or talents within our church family, and how can we encourage one another to use them for serving others and stewarding God's grace?

May we be a community that radiates the light of Christ through our actions! May our youth be inspired by our example and learn to follow Jesus with faith and integrity. May we have ears to hear and eyes to see the suffering and feel the Spirit's guidance to use our diverse gifts to glorify God. As we do so, our collective light will shine even brighter, drawing others to give glory to our Father in heaven. Together, we can bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth, and the world will know us by our love and service.

Keep shining, Church Family!
