The City of Litchfield Park remembered the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces during a brief, yet meaningful, Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony took place in front of the World War II Memorial on the west side of Litchfield Elementary School.
The 30-minute program was open to the public and was led by Mayor Thomas L. Schoaf. The ceremony included patriotic music, the placing of a floral tribute at the memorial, a prayer led by Pastor Kris, and a moment of silence in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
