As we continue the process of seeking God’s direction for our next Senior Pastor, we invite you to take a few minutes to share your voice.
The Pastoral Search Congregational Survey is designed to be brief—it should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Its purpose is to help us better understand what our congregation values and is prayerfully seeking in our next pastor, including leadership gifts, strengths, and ministry priorities.
We encourage you to complete the survey electronically for ease of collection and accuracy.
- Online (Preferred): Please use the Breeze survey link provided. Responses are submitted directly to our HR Chair, Phyllis Nelson, and will be compiled by her and the committee to help guide the search process.
- In-Person: For those with limited access to technology, printed copies will be distributed this Sunday during the 8:30 and 10:00 services, and are also available in the church office during the week. Form can be returned to the office or placed in the BLACK box found in the BELL TOWER or the offertory box mounted on the wall in Souers Community Hall.
The survey will remain open through Sunday, March 29. We encourage you to respond as soon as possible so the Search Committee can begin reviewing and evaluating the results.
Please note: this survey is one of several tools being used in the search process, and your input plays an important role in helping guide the direction forward.
The survey includes:
- A brief question about how long you’ve been attending CLP
- Ranking key pastoral leadership traits (such as teaching, shepherding, vision, and outreach)
- Ranking ministry priorities (such as worship, discipleship, children/youth, and missions)
- Two short reflection questions to help us better understand what makes our church unique and what matters most as we move forward
